the bank information can not be validated during QFX import

I tried using this to tool to prepare a QFX file, making sure the columns were populated with the correct data.  However, when I click on the file and it attenpt to put it into Quicken, I get a message that says the bank information can not be validated.     Can you provide me with some details on how the bank information should be in the excel file I use in order to mane sure the QFX file generated by your tool will be acceptable to Quicken.

Thanks,
Sriyani

Sriyani, I suspect you are using QuickBooks US edition, but your computer has Canadian local settings or you are using QuickBooks Canadian edition, but your computer has US local settings.

Click the US button on the Settings tab if you have QuickBooks US edition and the Canada button is you have QuickBooks Canadian edition, then click back on the Transactions tab and recreate the QFX file.

I have Quicken 2010 Canadian version and have Canadian settings.
Please check that INTU.BID is set to 2 or click the Look up button and select your bank and then recreate the QFX file.

Can you please provide more specifcs on where to find Intu.bid.  Also, when you said Lookup button, did you mean the Account Type.   I selected Savings there.  but it still did not work?

IN CSV2QFX, INTU.BID is on the Settings tab (it has the the Look up button there).

The account type as Savings is fine.
