Mrs. Dixon,

By what you are describing, most likely QFX files are not associated with Quicken Essentials.

Please do the following:

  • start Quicken
  • select File->Import under the main menu
  • point to saved QFX file and click Open on the File dialog
  • select the account under which you would like to import the transactions

CSV2QFX is not saving the file as a QFX... THAT is the problem.  It is automatically saving it as a TXT.  CSV2QFX doesn't give me an option other than to save it and name it, but then it is saving it as TXT not QFX.  Quicken Essentials only uses QFX not TXT.

Please send the screenshot with CSV2QFX opened at support@propersoft.net
Just sent the screen shot as you requested.  Thanks!
Thank you!

Please keep extension at the end as .QFX
I added .QFX to the end of the document name and it totally fixed the problem.

You are awesome-sauce, Sergiy!  Thank you.  :)
