Importing into Quicken 2012 to generate checks

I'm trying to import an excel CSV file into Quicken 2012 in order to generate checks. Quicken seems to be looking for a QFX file but Quicken help states i need an OXF file. Thanks

You can use either to QFX (Web Connect) or QIF.

CSV2QFX at http://www.propersoft.net/CSV2QFX converts CSV and Excel files to QFX format
CSV2QIF at http://www.propersoft.net/CSV2QIF converts CSV and Excel files to QIF format

Thanks, It adds the transaction to Quicken as though it cleared the bank. I need the file to load into Quicken in order to print checks. Can that be done?
Thanks

You still have to have transactions in Quicken and then change the check number to PRINT.
