Which formats does Quicken import
Depending on your Quicken version, available formats are QFX, QIF, CSV Mint. QXF files are not for transaction import, do use them or look for a converter to create a QXF file.
Quicken for PC 2017 (Deluxe, Premier, Home and Business, Rental Property)
Imports QFX and QIF files. QIF files are importable directly into account specified on the QIF file. Use a 2QFX or 2QIF converter: CSV2QFX, CSV2QIF, Bank2QIF, Bank2QFX.
Quicken for PC Starter edition (all years)
Imports QIF files into cash accounts only. Import into a cash account first (call the account IMPORT, and then move transactions into another account). Use CSV2QIF or Bank2QIF converter.
Quicken for PC 2015, 2016 (Deluxe, Premier, Home and Business, Rental Property)
Imports QIF and QFX format. For QIF format you must use proxy cash account to import QIF files there and then move imported transactions to another account
Quicken 2005-2014 (Deluxe, Premier, Home and Business, Rental Property)
Imports QIF files only, directly into specified account. Make sure to select QIF target as "Quicken 2014 or earlier" when using 2QIF converter.
Quicken 2004 or earlier
Imports QIF files only. Make sure to select QIF target as "MS Money or other" when using 2QIF converter.
Quicken for Mac 2015, 2016, 2017
Imports QFX and CSV Mint files. Use 2QFX or 2CSV converter: CSV2QFX, CSV2CSV, Bank2QFX, OFX2QFX.
Quicken 2007 for Mac
Imports QIF files only. Make sure to select QIF target as "Quicken 2007 for Mac" when using 2QIF converter.
