Can Bank2Csv help with my problem, please?

I was a Quicken user for many years and religiously took back-ups of all my data.  Now that I am on Windows 8, I find that the back-ups are in a format that no other system recognises - I have 4 files .qdf, .gsd, .qel, and .dir

Unfortunately the laptop with the original Quicken software has completely died so I cannot get access to the .qif files.

Does this mean I have completely lost my data?

I had hoped that BANK2CSV would be the answer to my prayers, but any help you can give would be appreciated.

Hello Penny,

Thank you for sending all details!

Which software are you going to use on new computer instead of Quicken?

Hi there

I’m planning to use BankTree.

You can confirm with BankTree if they are supporting import from Quicken files.
