QBO file generated brought into quickbooks as bank account rather than credit card

885 views

I'm using the CSV2QBO software to convert transactions for a credit
card account. I set the OFX Account field to CREDITCARD but when I
imported the the QBO file into QuickBooks it would only associate with a
bank account, not credit card. How can this be corrected so that it
imports as a credit card file?

You can set the account type before saving the QBO file.

- Start CSV2QBO and load the CSV file;
- Select correct account type (credit card)
- Click on the Settings tab and click the Look Up button to locate your bank
- Click on the Transactions tab and save the QBO file
- Load the QBO file in QuickBooks
