How can I convert my bank's .qfx files to .ofx

MY bank, Bank of America, gives me .qfx files to download my transactions.  I use Money, not Quicken so I need .ofx files.

You do not appear to have a .qfx to .ofx converter.  Why?  How can I convert my bank's .qfx files to .ofx?

You can use BANK2OFX. It can convert your QFX to OFX. You may also do the following:

- in MS Money, try to load the OFX file and when it shows the file dialog, change the filter from *.OFX to All files (*.*) and point ot QFX file.

If it loads the file then you are fine and do not need the converter, otherwise try to load the QFX file into BANK2OFX and check if it can parse your file correctly.

QFX files are extended OFX files, so they should work as OFX files when OFX file is expected. That's why there is no QFX2OFX yet.

The problem is that I download current transactions weekly and the QFX files cause Money to create duplicate entries in the account register. OFX files do not produce duplicate transactions, so I believe I need a converter. I will try BANK2OFX, hope it works.
