I save the file and the conversion seemed to go fine. However, when I imported the file, the transactions did not drop into the dominant (primary checking) account that was active. So, I tried to map to the specific account name, backed up and deleted the account that the software was selecting.

I need you to let me know what I can do to cause the QIF file to import into Quicken 2007 checking account register named "Checking Carri"
There is a data mapping problem or a coding problem. Please advise.

Thank you!

Hello Carri,

Please do the following to fix the issue:

- start QFX2QIF and load the QFX file
- Click on the Account Mapping tab and enter Checking Carri for the line Checking
- save the QIF file
- In Quicken, on the QIF import screen, please select "<All accounts>" from the account dropdown list.
