QIF2QBO makes acct number 99999999 for all files

I am a bookkeeper.  My client bought QIF2QBO and has me using it to convert Quicken downloads from Bank of America and Diners Club, among other.  Problem is:  QIF2QBO give both files the same account number (999999etc) and the same institution name (Wells Fargo) even though I have entered the correct account numbers in our QuickBooks accounts.  This also creates a conflict between the two accounts and blocks the import--which forces me to deactivate online banking for one account or the other before the import will work.  Please assist.  Thanks. Hello Shellah,

If you have just QBO files, you can open them in notepad and change the account ID for one account to other number (other than 999999etc).

If you have QIF2QBO, you can change the Account ID on the Settings tab before converting.

You may also change INTU.BID (bank identifier for the QBO file) for required bank (you have clean "online link" in QuickBooks for that account one more time). If your bank is not listed, leave default value 3000 (Wells Fargo).

Both INTU.BID and Account ID are only related to the QBO files - you will choose actual account during import.
