Use the converter the first time
This tutorial shows how to start a ProperSoft converter for the first time.
Step by step instructions
In this case, we will use the ProperConvert app, for other apps - the process is similar. When you start for the first time, first, what you do - is right-click the icon on the taskbar and select 'Pin to taskbar'. This way the icon will stay on the taskbar when you close the app.
So, the second, you have to request a trial license to continue or if you already purchase a license, then you click 'I already purchased', and in this case, you would just enter the registration code. If you just trying the app - enter your email address and then click 'Register'. If you receive an error message, then click on the 'Register through a web browser' and then continue registration on the web page. The process is similar: register your email and get the trial license by email. In most cases, this process - by clicking the 'Register' button, will work just fine.
Once you received the message, you should check your email. Go to your mailbox and there - you will have a message, that says to confirm your email address. Click the button 'Confirm' email address, which will open the page with the trial registration code. Copy that trial registration code and it should be like five letters or digits numbers.
In my case, I received the number. Then click 'Register'.
The next step is to review the welcome message. Please read all those bullet points, you may convert different formats like CSV or PDF, or other formats, then read the specific bullet points for the format you convert. You can see this welcome screen next time. And if you don't want to see it, then uncheck, click 'Close'.
