What we collect and why
Website usage analytics
We use Clicky.com to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are popular and where visitors come from. Clicky collects anonymous usage data and does not identify individual visitors. We do not use cookies.
Your email address
If you purchase a product or contact us, we collect your email address. We use it to:
- Send you your license details or activation information
- Help you manage or cancel your subscription
- Follow up about your purchase or support request within a reasonable time. You can unsubscribe from follow-up emails at any time.
We do not collect more information than we need.
Payments
We do not handle payment card data directly. Payments are processed by industry-leading payment gateways — Stripe, Paddle, FastSpring, and PayPro Global — each of which maintains its own privacy policy and complies with all required payment security standards (PCI-DSS). Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties or business partners. Your email address stays with ProperSoft.
The only exceptions are the payment processors listed above (for completing your purchase) and Clicky (for anonymous analytics), both described above.
Data retention
We keep your email address as long as you have an active license or subscription, or as long as needed to provide support. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing us.
Canadian law
ProperSoft is based in Canada and complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections.
EU residents (GDPR)
